MotAp - Early Alzheimer diagnosis

MotAp is a mobile app allowing medical professionals to detect and evaluate apathy and motivation troubles which can be early signs of Alzheimer and cognitive decline.

In the MotAp project, several dimensions are assessed thanks to various technologies:
. cognitive analysis through serious games and an automated voice analysis
. emotion detection thanks to the video analysis of facial expressions
. physical activity analysis thanks to actimeter sensors.

A collaborative project

MotAp is a pilot project developped in partnership with the French association Innovation Alzheimer, the university hospital in Nice and with the contribution of:

. The Sophia-Antipolis research center Inria (the French National Institute for computer science and applied mathematics)

. And KI-Elements, a spin-off startup from the DFKI the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).

The MotAp beta version has been developed for Android and iPad tablets.
