VIRTUALITIS is a 3D simulation software aimed at improving pedestrian traffic forecasting in densely populated places. Crowd simulations were previously complex to implement and reserved for highly trained experts. VIRTUALITIS aims to make crowd simulations easy to implement for anyone responsible for planning pedestrian flow in busy public buildings such as stadiums, concert halls or open spaces such as business or tourist districts.

July 1, 2024Launch of the 2024 BFM Business-Strathena summer challenge Following the success of the BFM Business/Strathena challenges in 2018, 2019 and 2020, Strathena is partnering again with the BFM Stratégie TV/radio show and offers a competition in July and August 2024. The best players will be invited to the set of the BFM Stratégie show in autumn. The game is divided into three sessions around the subject of energy producers and the energy transition. The first 500 players will have free access to these three sessions which will then be reserved for subscribers. The challenge BFM / Strathena 2024 was presented on BFM Business during the BFM Stratégie show on Saturday June 29, 2024. |

Nice City Tour Game is a mobile game to discover the history, culture and architecture of Nice developed by Interactive 4D for a Nice startup. A modern treasure hunt using geolocation and augmented reality but also quizzes, puzzles.... The quest types vary to please all tastes. They require observation, reflection and strategy, transforming each step in the city into a fun discovery. More than a simple tourist visit, it is a fun adventure to discover Nice, where Marcel, your virtual guide, invites you on a journey through time, where each street corner tells a story, each monument reveals a secret, and each landscape hides a legend. From the majestic Baie des Anges to the green hills that embrace the city, Nice reveals itself to you in a new light. The game offers as well a list of selected restaurants, cafés and shops as well as a calendar of cultural events. January-March 2024Strathena at the Maison des Polytechniciens A training course on corporate strategy presented by Xavier Fontanet has been organised for members of the X-Sursaut association, which brings together over 1,000 alumni of the École Polytechnique, and the Intermines association, which brings together alumni of the Mines engineering schools in Paris, Nancy and Saint Etienne. This training course consists of three half days, spanning from January to March 2024, and takes place at the Maison des Polytechniciens in Paris. Participants received a subscription to the Strathena platform, which Alexis Lacapelle, director of Interactive 4D, presented during the second session on March 4th. |

January 30-31th 2024Final meeting of the suPer project in Nice The final meeting of the suPer project was held in Nice (France) on January 30 and 31th 2024 at Interactive 4D's office. The objective of the suPer project is to create an online multidisciplinary training platform in the field of Parkinson's disease. The main objective of the meeting was to finalize the content and functionalities of the platform that was developed by Interactive 4D, as well as on the pilot tests. Videos presenting the project were also recorded. They will be integrated into the platform and broadcasted on the Internet.

September 21rd-22nd 2023First transnational meeting of the SaLT project The first transnational meeting of the SaLT (Speech and language tools for early intervention for teachers) project was organized in Nice (France) on September 21rd and 22nd 2023 in the office of Interactive 4D. The main objective of the meeting was to share national good practices in the different partner countries in terms of adapted learning for children with speech and language disorders. The project website, created by Interactive 4D, was unveiled on this occasion. |

July 2023Launch of the Game4CoSkills application on Google Play The mobile application Game4CoSkills has been released on Google Play for Android smartphones and tablets. The main objective of Game4CoSkills is to stimulate the development of cognitive skills for adults with intellectual disabilities.

June 9th 2023Digitalis among the finalists of the Kairos Award for the promotion of the entrepreneurship spirit in schools The Digitalis game, developed by Interactive 4D, was selected among the three finalists of the Kairos Award for the promotion of the entrepreneurship spirit in schools.
Awarded each year by the Kairos Foundation for Educational Innovation - Institut de France, this prize rewards teachers, school publishers or authors of educational materials contributing to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit in schools. The award ceremony was organized on June 9, 2023 at the Institut de France. DIGITALIS is a collaborative project funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme. May 23th 2023Prize-giving ceremony of the Intermines - Strathena challenge Xavier Fontanet, former President of ESSILOR, and Alexis Lacapelle, Director of Interactive 4D, announced the winners of the Strathena challenge at the annual cocktail party of Intermines, the alumni association of three prestigious French engineering schools (Ecole des Mines de Paris, Ecole des Mines de Nancy and Ecole des Mines de Saint Etienne). The event took place at the Hôtel de l'Industrie in Paris, and also featured appearances by Philippe Knoche, CEO of Orano, and Jean Arthuis, former Minister of the Economy and Finance and former Member of the European Parliament. May 10-12th 2023International meeting of the ExtremeXP project in Antibes A meeting of the ExtremeXP project was organised in Antibes (France) from 10 to 12 May 2023 by BitSparkles. The meeting concerned the Work Package 2 (conceptual foundation for experiment driven and user experience oriented data analysis). ExtremeXP is a collective European project funded under the Horizon Europe programme. It involves 20 European partners, including : ExtremeXP proposes a new paradigm for data analysis for professional use, which we call "experimentation-driven analytics". The aim is to provide public and private decision-makers with information based on accurate, fit-for-purpose and reliable data by evaluating complex analysis variables in an automated way and taking account of end-users' preferences and feedback. The aim is to improve decision-making processes. The method will focus on learning from experimentation to predict user needs, user profiling and proactively generating a precise analysis workflow to produce accurate results and personalised information. Five use cases will be prototyped: ExtremeXP will integrate into a common framework cutting-edge research results in the fields of data integration, machine learning, visual analysis, artificial intelligence, decentralised trust, knowledge engineering and model-based engineering. |
April 28th 2023Strathena at L'Oréal Xavier Fontanet gave a strategy course on April 28th 2023 to young executives from the L'Oréal group. The course took place at L'Oréal's premises in Clichy and was broadcast online for participants who were unable to attend. Participants were given access to the Strathena platform to follow the course, check what they had learnt with the quizzes and practise with the game. An internal challenge was launched to reward the best players. Strathena is a corporate strategy training platform including video lessons, quizzes and a simulation game. April 5th 2023Strathena at Ecole des Mines The alumni association of three prestigious French engineering schools (Ecole des Mines de Paris, Ecole des Mines de Nancy and Ecole des Mines de Saint Etienne) organized a conference entitled "Humanism and strategy" presented by Xavier Fontanet and articulated around the Strathena platform. This two-month course began with an introductory session led by Xavier Fontanet on April 5th 2023 at École des Mines de Paris and online for participants unable to travel to Paris. Participants were given access to the Strathena platform to follow the course, check their knowledge through quizzes and participate in a strategy competition using the serious game. Participants ranking in the highest scores will be awarded a prize at the annual Mines cocktail party on May 23th. February 16th - 18th 2023Transnational meeting of the VISITOR project The final meeting of the VISITOR project was held in Nice (France) on February 16 and 17, 2023, in the office of Interactive 4D. The VISITOR project proposes to integrate into school programs virtual visits to museums and other cultural and scientific exhibitions in the form of immersive 3D games, as an alternative to in situ visits when geographical constraints or health restrictions (such as during the coronavirus pandemic Covid-19) make it difficult or even impossible to visit cultural places. February 10th 2023Strathena at a primary school The bilingual Parisian school Concordia School has chosen the Strathena platform and Xavier Fontanet for raising awareness in a primary class towards the business world. The students played the game on tablets in groups of two or three students and then brilliantly explained their strategy to Xavier Fontanet. Well done kids! January 26 - 27th 2023Kickoff meeting of the ExtremeXP project in Athens The kickoff meeting of the ExtremeXP project was organized in Athens (Greece) on January 26th and 27th 2023. ExtremeXP is a European collective project funded under the framework of the Horizon Europe programme. It includes 20 European partners including: ExtremeXP is proposing a new paradigm for data analytics, which we call experimentation-driven analytics, to provide accurate, precise, fit-for-purpose, and trustworthy data-driven insights via evaluating different complex analytics variants, considering end users’ preferences and feedback in an automated way. The ambition is to improve decision making processes. The method will focus on learning from experimentation to predict user requirements, profiling the user, and proactively generating an accurate analytics workflow towards more precise outcomes and personalized insights. January 12 - 13th 2023Cyber crisis management training with the serious game Cyber Crime at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) Interactive 4D participated in the organization of two cyber crisis management simulation sessions at the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale (IHEDN) in Paris. These sessions involved around fifty executives from the public and private sector as part of the IHEDN's "Digital Sovereignty and Cybersecurity" major. They were led by Avisa Partners under the supervision of Army General (2S) Marc Watin-Augouard, responsible for this major. The Cyber Crime simulation immerses participants in the reality of a massive ransomware attack. It was designed by Avisa Partners and developed by Interactive 4D at the request of the French Ministry of the Interior. It was initially presented on February 2th 2022 to more than thirty European Ministers of the Interior and Justice as part of the European JHA (Justice and Home Affairs) Summit in Tourcoing (France). The purpose of the project was to create an e-learning platform for training formal/informal caregivers of older people on the early diagnosis of dementia and mild mental disorder. May 16th 2022Round table "Raising awareness towards entrepreneurship with serious games and videos?" During the conference “Innovate to develop entrepreneurship spirit from the youngest age” in Paris on Monday May 16th 2022, Alexis Lacapelle, CEO of Interactive 4D has participated at a round table under the topic "Raising awareness towards entrepreneurship with serious games and videos?". The round table was led by Cédric de Lestrange, administrateur of the Kairos foundation for educative innovation-Institut de France and also included Bernard de La Villardière, journalist, president of Ligne de front and founder of Néo, a social média 100 % video and Xavier Fontanet, former president of Essilor and designer with Interactive 4D of the business strategy game Strathena. Interactive 4D has developed two educational games about entrepreneurship that can be used in schools: . DIGITALIS for students in primary schools and colleges which aims at developing basic entrepreneurship skills and at discovering a simplified view of business management, . February 2nd 2022Launch of the CyberCrime simulation during an informal meeting of European Ministers of Interior On February 2nd 2022, more than thirty European Ministers of the Interior took part in a cybersecurity crisis simulation designed and presented by Avisa Partners and the FIC (International Cybersecurity Forum) and developed by interactive 4D. The simulation was led by a dozen experts from the French Gendarmerie and the Police and plunged the participants into the reality of a massive ransomware attack campaign. At the request of the French Ministry of the Interior, the event was organized in the city of Tourcoing (North of France), as part of the JHA (Justice and Home Affairs) summit. |

September 2021The French management school EMD (Marseille) has chosen the Strathena platform for its business strategy curriculum. Strathena is a training platform dedicated to corporate strategy training composed of videos, quizzes and a simulation game. It has been designed and developped by Interactive 4D and Xavier Fontanet, former President of Essilor and former member of the board in major international groups (L'Oreal, Schneider Electric...). October 13th-14th 2020Launch of the DIGITALIS project DIGITALIS is a 24 month collaborative project, funded by the European Commission within the Erasmus+ programme. It has started in October 2020 and will last until Septembre 2022. The objective of DIGITALIS is to create an educational game to promote digital skills for 8 to 12 year old students and their teachers. Through this tool, the objective is also to develop among pupils creativity, innovation, team work, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset. |

Actimentia is an ongoing European collaborative project that has been funded with the support of the Erasmus+ program (KA2) of the European Union. Its main objective is to promote among formal and informal caregivers of elderly people with light dementia the benefits of physical exercises and activities which can be performed in their familiar living environment (at home or at a community care setting). To achieve these goals, Interactive 4D will develop an online gamified platform that will include a program of physical exercices based on videos created by the partners of the ACTIMENTIA project. May 14-15th 2019Malmö (Sweden) - Official launch of the collaborative project PhysioPlux Trainer, which has been selected by the second call for projects of the Cross4Health EU funded programme. This project has been initiated by the portuguese company PLUX - Wireless Biosignals S.A. The main aim of the project is to gamify the physiotherapy training solution PhysioPlux which is based on its EMG (ElectroMyoGraphy) sensor. Cross4Health is a project funded within the EU Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, which aims at fostering collaboration, transfer of knowledge and opportunities among European SMEs in the sectors of biotechnologies, ICT and medical devices. April 2019Launch of Hipe Kids' website Launch of the website hipe-kids.co.uk which has been developed and gamifed by Interactive 4D for Hipe Kids, a startup based in the UK and in France, specialist of English lessons through videoconference for kids and teenagers. The website is based on an innovative gamified approach, in line with the educational methodology of Hipe Kids' founders. Lessons can be ordered online and automatically reserved. They can be paid in Hipes, the virtual currency of the Hipe Kids universe. |

December 19th 2018Official launch of the MigCare project MigCare is a European collaborative project that has been funded with the support of the Erasmus+ (KA2) programme of the European Union. The aim of the project is to train immigrants in Greece, in Italy and in Austria through gamification tools so that they can work in the European care giving sector. As a consequence, their integration into the European society is expected to be facilitated. To achieve these goals, Interactive 4D will develop an online gamified e-learning platform based on a training program and on educational contents that will be created by the other partners of the project. November 14th 2018Joint workshop of the Polycare and Picaso projects at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) in Sankt Augustin (Germany). Polycare and Picaso are two European collaborative projects that have been funded with the support of the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union, researching and developing different e-health solutions covering different aspects of integrated care. The POLYCARE project aims to provide an integrated care system for chronic patients to achieve a high quality home hospitalisation environment. This is achieved through a set of customisable apps and a nonintrusive monitoring system, which obtains information about the patient’s vital signals. Through this system, a better collaboration between the different clinical actors is achieved, while at the same time the patient is empowered to manage her own health. The PICASO project is developing an ICT platform to support a better coordination of care plans between different clinical institutions and care providers for people with comorbidities. PICASO aims to develop ICT platforms which meet this objective by supporting a continuum of care from hospitals and outpatient clinic to the home. The PICASO platform will enable the sharing of a patient’s complete care pathways with tools to establish health status, predict risks and adjust care. Path4Career is a European collaborative project that has been funded with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. It lasts from 2018 to 2020. The project aims to improve the skills of 16 EU partner organizations to deliver quality training in career management, soft skills (complex problem solving, critical thinking, people management, coordination with others, analysis and decision making) and internship for graduates. July 2018Interactive 4D launches a contest around Strathena, the serious game dedicated to corporate strategy that Interactive 4D has developed with Xavier Fontanet. This contest is proposed in partnership with the French TV / radio channel BFM Business in July and August 2018. It can be played on strathena.fr, a dedicated website (currently only in French). It is free and open to anyone. As in any sport contest, players need to exercice, then to train before competing with other players. April 2018Interactive 4D launches Strathena, a serious game dedicated to corporate strategy training, in cooperation with Xavier Fontanet, former President of Essilor and CEO of major international groups (Beneteau, Eurest...). The main goal of Strathena is to train people to business strategy so that they can understand the way private companies can survive in a competitive environment. This mode is for researchers that want to simulate the market behaviour of specific industries or corporate executives that want to simulate the consequences of their long term strategies. November 14th-16th 2017Interactive 4D participated in the Smart City Expo World Congress à Barcelone, one of the world most important events in the field of smart cities. This show attracted representants of urban authorities, world experts, startups, investors and companies who design or use digital solutions for cities and territorial authorities. More than 19 000 visitors and 675 exhibitors representing more than 700 cities and more than 120 countries gathered to the 2017 edition. Along with four other startups of the PACA region, Interactive 4D has presented its innovative educational and promotional solutions on the C358 booth, a regional booth organized by the cluster SCS (Secured Communicating Solutions). July 11th-12th 2017Meeting of the European consortium of the Polycare project at the hospital of Barbastro (Spain). POLYCARE is a European Research and Innovation project in the field of telemedicine, aiming at developping a digital integrated care system. In this project, Interactive 4D is responsible for the development of a gamified mobile application that connects doctors in hospitals to patients using wearable health measurement devices at their home with the help of formal and informal care givers.
POLYCARE is funded within the European framework Horizon 2020 for the period 2016 to 2018. July 2016Launch of ComColors Digital, an interactive mobile application developped by Interactive 4D for ComColors Partners, a French training organization. ComColors Partners has invented the ComColors model, an interpersonal communication model based on personality profiles that can be used in coaching as well as in training sessions (selling, management, personal development)... ComColors Partners and its certified coaches use the ComColors Digital mobile application during revolutionary training sessions in which the feed-back is not only given by the coach but by the participants themselves. ComColors Digital is the first digital training solution in the field of personal development that enables participants to exchange their relational perceptions within small teams. Thanks to this innovative mobile app., the coach/trainer can create and launch in real time quizzes and various types of exercices enabling participants to express their own perception to other team members. It aims at enabling them to adapt their product to the French and American markets, while developing partnerships with local members of the culture industry. It was established by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States and co-produced with Business France (international French agency for business development), and supported by the Institut français. The transmedia game ReWild has been awarded twice at the "Trophées Innovation et Tourisme en Rhône-Alpes" by the Regional Committee of Tourism (Rhône-Alpes Tourisme) : with an award in the category "Digital tools for the discovery of territories" and with the Jury's Trophy "all categories".
ReWild is the first transmedia game dedicated to territorial promotion on such a large territory (4 regional nature parks - Bauges, Chartreuse, Haut-Jura and Vercors - and 4 cities - Chambéry, Grenoble, Aix-les Bains and Bellegarde-sur-Valserine -).
A second version is currently under development and will be officially launched at the begininng of summer 2013. |

The tourism association of promotion Grande Traversée des Alpes entrusts Interactive 4D to design, implemente and manage an ARG - Alternate Reality Game, at the border between real and virtual world. This new type of "transmedia" game uses : . techniques from the video games, enigmas, puzzle games, géocaching... . modern communication tools (smartphone, sms, Flash codes, internet sites, blogs, social networks...) . audiovisual promotion (films, photo and video reports)
The game, designed and developed in a collaborative way, aims at increasing the summer hiking tourism in four natural regional parks : Bauges, Chartreuse, Vercors, Haut-Jura. Young adults (18-26 years) are the main target. |
